Test: Editing in Anamorphic
Просмотров 489 месяцев назад
I shot this with the iPhone using an anamorphic adapter. The sound was recorded in spatial audio (binaural). The sequence was edited in Final Cut Pro and compressed from 4K to 720 in a custom codec. Notice how there is a cropped shot when the candidate speaks. This took a while to figure out and I wanted to see how it would hold up. Thus the reason for this test.

Can anyone watching this in 2024 tell me how I may contact Earl Pardini?
If you reply to this, I will forward your email to Earl. I made the film and am in contact with him.
@StanHirson youtube does not permit posting of phone numbers or email in comments. Tell him it is the daughter of his parents old and dear friend Roy (sonny) from the Bronx
@StanHirson tell him I will be in Roxbury, NY may3-may6th visiting my Auntie Ann and I mailed his sister Enid a letter 4/16 certified mail but as of today it is still not delivered
@StanHirson if you are "hudsonvalleygrows" I can send you my email there maybe?
EARL!! The one and only...the BEST!!
So glad I finally got to make this trip here on youtube. I wonder how many of Earl's passengers know that he is local legend as a fiddle player and square dance caller? :)

How long do brake shoes last? Doesn't sound like much. Hope yore still fiddlin', earl.
I love the prayer. Earl is the sweetest fellow you'll ever meet. Great video.
Wonderful! I love the old ALCo RS1, my favorite!
We stayed one night in a hotel in Kingston NY. At 12 AM I heard some noise outside so I went to the window and was delighted to find a train. The railroad runs right in the backyard. I believe it was the Hampton Inn, if I remember correctly.
That Railroad doesn’t run freight if I’m correct so not sure what you were seeing

That's some beautiful wool!!
Wow this Alco was built in 1950 from the Catskill Mountain Railroad
Was not originally there’s it was originally built for the Illinois Terminal Railroad
I've rode on the Catskill Mountain Railroad before couple of times in the past in Kingston NY
are you still confident in the benefits of biochar in your fields? Have you further integrated it into your farming practices? Thanks for the video.....that sure is quite a difference in corn development.
Yes, we are very pleased with the results. The practice is spreading, although more slowly than I would like. There are a number of products on the market that contain biochar since this was filmed, but it is easy enough to make. I suggest you do some Googling and I think you will be impressed! Thanks for the comment!
@@StanHirson good morning......I have already made a bunch....nice stuff, dirty business....my advice to anyone....make yourself of a few good screens and screening system, and wear a mask. I have concerns because of observations such as this....... ruclips.net/video/kX7vMAC2cSQ/видео.html and you know, given the time it's been a buzz word on the ag world, geez, where are the thorough studies? Maybe I should be digging around university studies I suppose, not thinking yt has all the answers. I make my biochar with my yotel stove in the basement.....one of those newer stoves that is designed to burn of the syn gases and burns quite clean compared to my old vermont casting dog upstairs, which rips through wood and is much, much harder to make any kind of biochar with....anyhow.... I intend to rinse the 1/2 yard of char I have, then soak it in bug frass and urine/h20 for several weeks, before I build it into a 6 yard pile of leaf mold/bark soil I worked up this spring. Then I;ll be able to do some good tests...my interest is in growing cruciferous veggies, cantaloupe, and cannabis. I suspect the combo of aged hardwood and pine bark with biochar might be a real winner....here;s why, the bark is a water holder, like the clay chunks in terra preta, but bark has nutrients which microbes actually metabolize, and nice and slow too.... these barks give great structure to the soil too, but must be aged and screened to a certain size. I am also going to do another experiment where I take the already soaked in frass biochar and bake it gently again, then soak/charge it in frass/urine/h2o again, then build it into some soil for it;s own little experiment. I want to try to drive nutrients into that char then activate/charge it again., get a good soak in...... super charge it. I have 1/2 yard of white pine bug frass (been growing with it for years now, I collect it pales at a time.... you just got know here to look), 25 yards of leaf mold soil, and 10 yards of aged, screened bark, all just waiting for spring.... so some biochar questions will be answered.
Now one must add "shoe leather mix" to the skills set that includes "shoe leather zoom".

Black Welch, mostly, and Gotland.
@@StanHirson hi thanks for your kind reply, it exited me cause the sheep look similar to the sheep found in my region it is known as DECANI it's from india
@@rohitdangale3594 Interesting how breeds from distant parts of the world look similar... These sheep are on a neighbor's farm and they are very small. I don't really know how practical they are. We have Icelandic horses, very small but very practical!
